GEM's Prosper Facilitator

Start a GEM's Gather Program at your school to create confident girls and successful students

We train females who hold a state issued license in counseling, social work, psychology, and education and who have a demonstrated interest in and commitment to working with girls. If desired participants do not work at an educational entity a background check is required where they plan to implement the GEM’s Gather Program.

Option #1

Attend a Facilitator Training Workshop (Virtual)

The 24 Hour GEM’s Prosper Facilitator Licensure Training program mirrors the GEM’s Gather Program for girls, by engaging participants fully in the research, encouragement-based content, and experience of the issues facing girls and provides the opportunity to explore one’s own beliefs, encouraging and overcoming stories, and behaviors as they learn to relate to the education, safety, development, and empowerment of girls.

*Your $350 registration fee is inclusive of all training materials, and upon completion, participants will be trained and licensed to implement the GEM Program upper elementary and/or secondary curriculum. Please note NOT all incentives from the in person training package are included.

Option #2

Bring a Facilitator Training to your site

You can bring the GEM Prosper training team to your site to prepare your female counselors, social workers, administration, etc. to implement GEM. With a minimum of 5 participants, the GEM training team will bring the inclusive 2 day training to your community. Reach out to info@gemwithin.org to develop a custom training program and to schedule training dates.

GEM's Prosper Facilitator Training

GEM Prosper Coaches must have state-issues license in:

  • • School Counseling/Mental Health Counseling
  • • Social Work/School Social Work
  • • School Psychology
  • • Education/Administration

GEM Prosper Coaches is someone who...

  • • Believes in the greatness of our girls
  • • Is aware of the complex issues impacting our girls
  • • Is caring, nuturing, open, encouraging, and communicative
  • • Promotes supportive, encourgaing, and empowering relationships among young women. 

GEM Prosper Coaches have experience:

  • • Facilitating small groups
  • • Upholding school or entity policies and procedures
  • • Advocating for student programming
  • • Using respectful and inclusive language during difficult discussions

GEM's Prosper Facilitator Training Package

Note: Up to 5 facilitators are able to sign up foir training course each year per site

Cost of 1 day Training: $350/per person

G.E.M. Gather Group Girl Participants will receive the following materials: 

  • *GEM's Thrive Activation and Reflection Workbooks
  • *Custom G.E.M. Water bottles
  • *Custom G.E.M. T-shirt to reflect school name on back of T-shirt
    *G.E.M. Journal

  • Once training is complete and GEM’s Gather Group is established, there is a $175 per girl signed up for the group.
